Fiona and Chris 21st July 2024

Hi Mum, been thinking a lot about you this week. It's been extremely hot and you would have found it unbearable. We took Peter and Gill to the wooded area at the crematorium on Thursday to see where your ashes were scattered. It is very quiet and peaceful and will be very pretty when the bulbs come up. Peter and Clare are getting ready to move back to Manchester in a few weeks. Peter will be at home with Rose until she starts nursery in September. We spent the afternoon with Sue, Polly and Bonnie yesterday. Their building work has started so it's a bit cramped there at the moment. Clare's sister Edel and Alex have had a baby boy so Clare is coming down with rose this week to visit us and them. Chris and I are really excited about our cruise next Sunday 28th July, we will raise a glass in your honour. We saw Alison and Alwyn last week they are both well and we're sad to have missed your ceremony but you are in their thoughts. The flat is on the market and a few people seem interested. So fingers crossed it will sell quickly. We think of you frequently and I find it hard not being able to talk to you. Love you always Fiona and Chris. 🥰🥰
